I tried ExGen once before and I was close to purchasing it when I realized it didn't have an export option for the alpha channel. So the exported image was a great looking particle effect on a black background.  nice effects but restriction to many The 256 height and width restriction make this tool useless to me. Also was under the impression it worked within Flash, but it doesnt, this is for home users not professionals
